Silver Bloom

Collector’s Note

Silver Bloom is a hand knotted wool runner woven in a palette of soft grey, pale blue, and ivory. Made using traditional Oushak weaving techniques, it features loosely spun wool and an open knot structure that give the runner a supple feel and a lightly textured surface. A gentle wash after weaving softens the outlines of the floral motifs, creating the diffused, aged effect associated with contemporary Oushak production.

The design belongs to the classical Oushak floral tradition, where large stylized blossoms and branching vines are arranged with generous spacing. This approach, rooted in Western Anatolian weaving, emphasizes lightness, openness, and tonal harmony rather than rigid geometry.

This runner suits calm, airy interiors and pairs well with pale woods, stone floors, and neutral textiles. Its cool palette helps brighten hallways or bedside spaces, adding understated color without overwhelming the room.
