A finely handwoven wool runner from Kerman, Iran, composed of a sequence of rectangular panels enclosing stylized floral motifs and tree forms inspired by the classical Persian chahar bagh (four-garden) layout. The design alternates in a harmonious palette of brick red, indigo, ivory, and soft gold, framed by a continuous border of repeating floral cartouches.
Executed in wool on a cotton foundation, the weave is tight and balanced, allowing for exceptional clarity of detail. The rug’s elongated format and refined composition make it well suited for hallways, galleries, or transitional interiors. 2.5 ft x 9.25 ft
