Collector's Note
Mid-20th century Persian rug, finely knotted in kork wool, c. 300–400 KPSI. The central medallion is set within a floral field and bordered by scrolling palmettes. The surface shows a visible patina, softening the palette and enhancing its depth. Named Sāhibān (The Pavilion), the piece recalls the shaded retreats of Persian gardens.
